MEET OUR FAMILY... The Mwenda family
Megan and Erick Mwenda are based in Mombasa, Kenya, where they dedicate their full-time efforts to partnering with various ministries.
Our core mission is three-fold:

reaching the unreached
discipling believers
equipping missionaries for effective service

Erick Mwenda Erick brings a strong foundation in biblical training, missions, and apologetics, specializing in evangelism to diverse religious groups. He has a passion for serving the local church, discipleship, and teaching the deep truths of God's Word, helping others mature in their faith.

Megan Mwenda Megan has a rich background in youth ministry and global missions, possessing over a decade of experience leading both short and long-term teams worldwide. She is particularly gifted in discipleship and mentoring, helping young people find their place in faith and missions.

While Mombasa serves as their home base, their ministry extends throughout Kenya , where they actively engage in:

Leading and hosting missions teams.
Conducting evangelistic outreaches.
Managing and overseeing various ministry projects.

We believe in mobilizing locals(and others) into missions by teaching a missional mindset in all aspects of life and ministry.
We teach at a bible school, oversee 100+ churches and pastors and a church planting ministry, focus on evangelism to other religious groups in our community and context, dig wells in impoverished village, lead and organize outreaches to the most remote places in Kenya, help manage a girl's home and sponsorship program for orphaned or neglected girls (New Dawn Africa), we host and organize many missions teams throughout the year, fund feeding programs, preach the gospel, organize baptism events (which aren't very common here), and raise our family and little disciples on the mission field in the process!

We are soon opening a guest house and will be managing that particularly for other missionaries, guests, and hosting teams that come through. We do so much in so many different areas and always want to have a yes in our hearts for opportunities that present itself.

At our girls home, New Dawn Africa, the vision is to create a safe and loving home for abused and/or neglected girls where they can heal, learn, and thrive.
The goal is to see a transformative society that values the vulnerable children by being voice to the voiceless.

Church Planting, Bible School, Pastors & Marriage Conferences

Our partnership with Lighthouse for Christ offers healing for physical and spiritual blindness through:
an eye clinic, Bible School, hosting missions teams conferences, and planting churches throughout coastal Kenya.

Short Term Missions

At Bold Believer’s Missions, we value our partnerships with short and long term missionaries.
Through organizations like Worldrace we are able to train and disciple young missionaries and organize missions projects for them throughout East Africa.

Clean Water
Projects

Nearly 50% of the world suffers from lack of clean drinking water and 2.6 million people die every year due to water related diseases.
Commission Mankind offers a solution to combating this statistic through providing the most remote places with access to clean water and hygiene while also spreading the Gospel that ”Jesus is the Living Water”.

Personal Projects

Bold Believer’s Missions also offers a Guesthouse for lodging which provides a safe haven for missionaries, short term teams, and other guests to the East African region.
